How to choose the right LED bulb?
When choosing a source of LED light, it is worth to pay attention to the type of luminaire, the place of installation and the expected light effect.When buying, it is best to check the most important technical parameters that affect the comfort of use, durability and the amount of light.
1️⃣ Handle / shape / size
The most common handles used in homes are E27 and the smaller E14, used in ceiling lamps, wall lamps, chandeliers and bedside lamps.In industrial and technical applications, the larger thread is encountered E40, used in high-powered luminaires.Among the point sources, the following models are very popular GU10 and AR111, often used as replacements for traditional halogen LEDs.Before you buy, it's a good idea to check the type of thread or attachment on the lamp.The shape of the bulb is also important - classic bulb, candle, ball, reflector or filament - and its dimensions, especially in smaller fixtures, plafonds and decorative lamps.

🟡 Warm - ideal for living room and bedroom.
⚪ Neutral - universal for kitchen, bathroom and office.
🔆 Daylight - natural white light with good color rendition.
🔵 Cold - recommended for garage, workshop and technical rooms.
3️⃣ Power [W] / lumens [lm]
Power determines energy consumption, while lumens show the real amount of light.The more lumens, the brighter the lighting. In comparison, a traditional 100W incandescent bulb generated about 1300-1500 lm, and a similar luminous flux can provide a good quality LED bulb of about 12-15W.
4️⃣ Energy class / efficiency
Efficient LED bulbs provide more light with less energy consumption.It is worth pay attention to the energy class and luminous efficiency expressed in lm/W.The most efficient models reach class A or B, the middle class is C and D, while the economy versions are most often designated as E or F.The higher the energy class, the lower the energy consumption while maintaining the right amount of light.
5️⃣ Body plastic / material
Models with an aluminum body dissipate heat better and perform well under heavy use.Plastic is often chosen for standard household applications.Many bulbs also have a glass bulb - milky, which disperses light evenly, or transparent, used most often in decorative filament models.
